In London, cinema owner Karl Verloc appears to live an ordinary life with his wife—but behind the scenes, he is involved with a dangerous group carrying out acts of sabotage across the city. As Scotland Yard closes in, suspicion, secrecy, and an increasingly deadly plot put everyone around him at risk. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, Sabotage is an early example of the tension and psychological suspense that would become his trademark.
