QUESTIONS?
WE'VE GOT TAPES.

The Double Feature is Friday Night VHS's mystery movie-night box.

You choose the vibe. We choose two VHS tapes and pair them into one mystery Double Feature.

Your box also includes popcorn, candy, a Double Feature insert, and a little Friday Night VHS surprise.

Two mystery tapes. One Friday night. Yours to keep. 📼

Our core Double Feature editions are:

Surprise Me — anything goes. No genre rules. Dealer's choice.

Date Night — romance, rom-coms, and movies made for the couch.

Cult — horror, cult favorites, strange movies, dark movies, and the weirder side of the shelf.

Limited or seasonal editions may appear from time to time too.

YES. THEY'RE YOURS. 😂📼

Both VHS tapes inside your Double Feature belong to you.

There are no rental deadlines, no return labels, and nobody from Friday Night VHS is coming to your house looking for our copy of Speed.

Watch them. Display them. Rewatch them. Add them to your collection.

Nope.

The Double Feature currently works as a one-time purchase.

Buy one when Friday night calls for a little chaos. Come back whenever you want another.

If we ever introduce recurring options, we'll make that very clear before you purchase.

The standard Double Feature Mystery Box is $21.99 plus shipping.

Any special, limited, or future editions may be priced differently and will clearly show their price before purchase.

Every standard Double Feature includes:

📼 Two handpicked mystery VHS tapes
🍿 Movie-night popcorn
🍬 Movie-night candy
🎟️ A Double Feature insert
✨ A little Friday Night VHS surprise

The exact movies — and some of the little extras — stay a mystery until you open the box.

Usually, no.

Part of Friday Night VHS is the thrill of finding vintage physical media that has already lived a life.

Tapes and sleeves may show normal signs of age such as shelf wear, old price stickers, handwriting, faded artwork, scuffs, rental labels, or other cosmetic imperfections.

We think that's part of what makes VHS VHS.

Yes.

Tapes are inspected before being selected for a Friday Night VHS Double Feature and are checked for obvious condition problems before packing.

Because VHS is decades-old analog media, picture quality, sound quality, tracking, and playback can naturally vary from tape to tape and from VCR to VCR.

If a tape arrives damaged or appears genuinely unplayable, contact us and we'll help.

Nope — movie-night snacks may vary.

Brands, flavors, sizes, and selections can change depending on availability and the box we're putting together.

The important part is that your Friday night gets snacks. 😂🍿

Please review the ingredient and allergen information printed by the snack manufacturer before consuming anything included in your box.

Snack selections may vary, and Friday Night VHS cannot guarantee that any box is free from specific allergens or cross-contact risks.

If you have a serious food allergy, the safest choice is to skip the included snack unless its packaging confirms that it's appropriate for you.

No.

The Double Feature is $21.99 plus shipping.

Any applicable shipping charges are shown during checkout before you complete your order.

Every Double Feature is curated and packed by hand, so your box isn't simply pulled off a warehouse shelf.

Current processing and shipping information will be provided through the site, checkout, or your order updates.

Once your order ships, you'll receive the available shipment information for your package.

When tracking is available for the shipping service used, your tracking information will be sent with your shipment confirmation.

Then you can obsessively refresh Tape Mail like the rest of us. 😂📦

Shipping availability depends on the destinations currently enabled in the Friday Night VHS store.

If your location is available during checkout, you'll be able to view the available shipping options before placing your order.

International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country.

First, check around the delivery location, with members of your household, building staff, or neighbors when appropriate.

You should also contact the carrier directly and open a missing-package inquiry.

If you're still unable to locate the package, contact Friday Night VHS and we'll review the situation with you based on the shipment information available.

The mystery is the product.

Because the actual movie titles are intentionally unknown when you order, all Double Feature Mystery Box sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds based on the titles received.

This includes receiving a movie you already own, a movie you've already seen, a title you would not have personally chosen, or simply not liking the selection or pairing.

By purchasing a Double Feature Mystery Box, you understand that Friday Night VHS chooses the movies and that the surprise is part of the experience.

If your order arrives damaged, contains an incorrect item, is missing something that should have been included, or a tape appears genuinely unplayable, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include your order number and photos of the issue. We may also ask for video or additional information so we can understand what happened and review the problem.

Remember that VHS is vintage analog media, so occasional tracking lines, analog noise, age-related picture variation, or cosmetic sleeve wear do not necessarily mean a tape is defective.

If we confirm that your order was damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or that a tape is genuinely unplayable, we'll work with you on an appropriate resolution.

Contact us with your order number and tell us what's missing.

If an item that should have been included in your order was accidentally left out, we'll review the order and help make it right.

Very normal.

Friday Night VHS works with vintage physical media. Cosmetic signs of age can include scuffs, faded colors, creases, price stickers, rental stickers, handwriting, worn corners, and other evidence that a tape has survived several decades.

We call that VHS archaeology. 😂

Contact us as quickly as possible.

If your order has not entered fulfillment, we may be able to help with a change or cancellation.

Once an order has been packed, fulfilled, or shipped, changes may no longer be possible.

Nope. That's the whole point. 😏

You choose the Double Feature edition. Friday Night VHS chooses the actual movies.

If you already know exactly what movie you're getting, the mystery has left the building.

Your edition is the primary way you control the vibe.

Date Night keeps things in the romance and rom-com world.

Cult heads toward horror, cult, strange, and darker territory.

Surprise Me is intentionally wide open.

We don't guarantee highly specific genre exclusions unless an option is explicitly offered during ordering.

That's possible — especially if you already have a large VHS collection.

We can't guarantee that every mystery tape will be a title you don't already own.

The Double Feature is curated as a mystery experience, not as a guaranteed collection-completion service.

On the bright side, duplicates make excellent trade bait. 😂📼

It can happen.

We can't guarantee you've never seen the films before.

Sometimes Friday night means discovering something completely new. Sometimes it means revisiting a movie you haven't watched on VHS since Blockbuster still existed.

Both count. 📼

That's where the fun starts.

Double Features can be paired by genre, mood, era, theme, actor, director, weird connection, complementary vibe, or sometimes because the combination is simply too good not to put together.

We aren't just throwing two random tapes into a box.

It's a Double Feature. The pairing is part of the show.
