Armageddon

An asteroid is headed straight for Earth, NASA is running out of time, and apparently the best people to save humanity are a bunch of oil drillers. Harry Stamper and his crew are launched into space with one impossible assignment: land on the asteroid, drill into it, plant a nuclear bomb, and get the hell out before the world ends. Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, explosions, space shuttles, Aerosmith-level emotion—this is peak late-’90s blockbuster insanity.
