We’re All Going to the World’s Fair VHS

The World’s Fair Challenge has escaped the internet. Now it lives on tape.

Jane Schoenbrun’s WE’RE ALL GOING TO THE WORLD’S FAIR returned to VHS in 2026 through Lunchmeat and Utopia, bringing one of modern internet horror’s most fitting films back to an appropriately analog format.

The film follows teenage Casey as she immerses herself in an online horror role-playing game known as the World’s Fair Challenge, slowly blurring the boundaries between performance, isolation and reality.

Lunchmeat’s limited edition even included glow-in-the-dark cassette variants — a particularly appropriate touch for a movie whose protagonist spends her nights beneath glowing bedroom stars and the light of a computer screen.

Originally offered as a preorder for August fulfillment, copies remain available directly from Lunchmeat.
