The contaminated broadcast has finally made it to tape.

THE TANGI VIRUS brings Paul Catalanotto's Louisiana-set analog horror nightmare into the physical world with an officially licensed VHS release from Retro Release Video.

The series unfolds through corrupted broadcasts, local-access programming and recovered recordings surrounding a mysterious virus in Tangipahoa, Louisiana — including THE WILLIAMS TAPES, BOIL ADVISORY, THE GREAT FLOOD and TANGI WATER.

It's another wonderfully strange reversal for modern analog horror: a story designed to resemble forgotten recordings is no longer merely pretending to exist on videotape.

Now there's an actual tape.
